Front-end Developer

September 2017 - Today

Currently, I am working as a front-end developer at 360Agency as an integral part of the innovation team. We are a company that specializes in digital solutions for car dealers. The opportunity sharpened my communication and interpersonal skills I attained by collaborating closely and constructively with others. I reinforced my front-end skills, particularly in JavaScript, and also learned the basics of NodeJS.

Tasks:

- developing websites,
- maintaining and building websites core structure,
- building a JSP/JSTL component library,
- building a React component library,
- developing productivity tools,
- investigating and making technological improvements.

Front-end Developer

March 2017 - July 2017

While graduating university, I took an internship position in a digital agency based in Montreal. Here I was able to strengthen my knowledge on SPA frameworks.

Freelance developer and designer

October 2015 - October 2016

As a student, I had the opportunity to work as a freelancer. Here, I was challenged, I learned how to work well autonomously, and I mastered my planning and organization skills. Overall, this was great learning opportunity and a chance to hone my skills in web development and design.

I worked as an intern in a great web development team. At Peexeo, I was able to build a strong foundation for web development as I practiced CSS, SASS and PHP by using WordPress.

Website design and development
A website for a great make-up artist who is also my sister. It presents her services, projects, Instagram feed and ways to contact her. One of my first projects that I keep improving over time. It is build with Jekyll and staticly hosted on Netlify.

Development
During my internship at Peexeo, my main mission was to build a website to market the new courses offered by the web agency.

Development
A project composed of car listings and the filtering system. It is written in native JavaScript and uses Redux for shared state management.

Automated Documentation
Development
While working at 360 Agency, I build a NPM package to automate documentation for our new component library. The NodeJS script gathers data about components by reading their source files, and then outputs the information on a web page. The whole process was ultimately baked into the CI for full automation at every release.
Automated Performance Report
Development
By running Google Chrome with Puppeteer, the program gathers performance metrics for a web page. It obtains information about networks requests, CSS and JS file usage, performance ratings and loading times.
Retrofit Machine
Development
With the goal of increasing efficiency of retrofit processes, I developed a program that automatically applies changes from a Git commit to projects with the same core structure.
Chrome Extensions
Development
At 360 Agency, I created browser extensions to help colleagues work more efficiently with our internal tools. The purpose was to enhance our administration interface, provide a visual grid overlay on our websites, and quickly refresh incoming CMS data on a local website.
